Dad – to be like our Heavenly Father
in love, in word, and in deed;
To give your life in love for your children -
this is the Daddy’s Creed.
It takes more to be a Daddy
than the giving of your seed.
It means being there when times are hard.
It means meeting the family’s needs.
What a child needs most in their life
is a Daddy who is willing to give
a constant example of God’s tender love
through the life that he daily lives.
So, Dad, as you raise your children,
remember God’s Word to heed.
Follow God’s loving example -
Live by the Daddy’s Creed.
